Review of a Lookbook Store V-neck work dress

If you read my last two posts, you know already that I was invited to review three pieces of my choice from Lookbook Store. The third piece I chose originally was so popular that it was already sold out. Thus, if you fall in love with a piece from Lookbook Store when you browse their collections get it fast.

Well, I browsed their offers again, and detected that Lookbook Store constantly adds new pieces. I found this beautiful off-white V-neck dress with ¾ sleeves, my favorite sleeve length. Like the pink dress from Lookbook Store this dress has a long back zipper that opens to both ends. This feature makes this dress very versatile. It goes easily from work to dinner with friends by just opening the lower zipper a little for a slit and switching the jewelry and shoes. You can find the review of the pink dress from Lookbook Store at the link, in case you missed it.

A great summer dress for work

This dress is perfect for Alaska summer and on cooler summer days anywhere else. It is perfect for the office as its cleavage is very modest. However, if your office’s dress code calls for no cleavage at all, you can make the dress fit the code by just wearing a T-shirt or camisole underneath or adding a scarf. The former two options also permit wearing the dress latter in fall.

The dress is easy and versatile to style

The dress shows a lot of love for detail (see photo below) and came with a beautiful black alligator imprinted faux leather belt. For this post I styled the dress with an old tan belt from my closet as I wanted to wear the dress with my edgy tan colored sandals as long as summer lasts in Alaska. But it is definitively on my look inspiration list to wear this dress in the black and white trend later in the season. Thus, stay tuned.

In summary, all three items that Lookbook Store sent me for review are exact to their stated US size and fit perfectly without any alteration. I got a lot of compliments on all outfits as well as on the items themselves. I felt very confident and great wearing them. They are very nicely crafted, and have great details (see, for example, darts and pockets in the photo above). The  price performance ratio is outstanding and in advantage for the customer. This v-neck dress is an American Classic suitable for a posh summer work outfit. Browse their collection now to find your perfect summer work dress or more.
