Instructions to Determine Your Body Shape
Your body shape is your horizontal body type.
- Wearing a regular bra (i.e., a non-padded bra, and not a minimizer or Wonderbra) measure your bust circumstance at the height of your nipples with a fabric or fiber tape. Write the measure down.
- Measure your natural waist at its slimmest point. This point should be below the rib cage and above the navel. Record the measure.
- Measure your hip at its widest point as seen from the front and side. Typically, this point is right at the fullest part of your butt at the height of the hip bone. Again take note of the value.
