I have a confession to make. I never took a ride on a motorcycle or a horse back. I am allergic to horse hair and not brave enough for the motorcycle. Nevertheless, I like riding boots, horse buckle belts, motorcycle boots, motorcycle vests, motorcycle jackets, motorcycle coats, and motorcycle shearlings, motorcycle booties). One of my favorite outfits is to pair a tweed skirt with riding boots and a motorcycle jacket like in this outfit. May be it is the contradiction of pieces that attracts me in this outfit. Nobody in her right mind would ride a motorcycle in a straight skirt or ride a motorcycle with 1 horse power.
The outer outfit is made up by my faux fur A-line coat, chevron striped white-gray-black cashmere scarf, gray Pippa bag, black gloves, a white flap hat, and the tights and boots from the “indoor outfit”. Wear the various layers provide several layers of air insulation making this outfit good enough for temperatures down to -20F (-28.9C). When i do not wear a layered indoor outfit I would wear this faux fur coat only down to -10F (-23.3C).
