Loving the gear, but not the equiment

I have a confession to make. I never took a ride on a motorcycle or a horse back. I am allergic to horse hair and not brave enough for the motorcycle. Nevertheless, I like riding boots and everthing equestarian like horse buckle belts, motorcycle boots, motorcycle vests, motorcycle jackets, motorcycle coats, and motorcycle shearlings, motorcycle booties. Hiere I show you my favorite way how to wear a tweed skirt with riding boots and a motorcyle jacket..

Spencer & Graham motorcycle jacket, Sanchez tall boots, GNW tight, Eddie Bauer tweed skirt, Oliveo button-down shirt, Brooks Brothers cashmere sweater, and baroque pearl necklace  (all own)

May be it is the contradiction of pieces that attracts me in this outfit. Nobody in her right mind would ride a motorcycle in a straight skirt or ride a motorcycle with 1 horse power.

Styling riding boots with an A-line Faux  fur coat

The outer outfit is made up by my faux fur A-line coat, chevron striped white-gray-black cashmere scarf, gray Pippa bag, black gloves, a white flap hat, and the tights and boots from the “indoor outfit”. Wear the various layers provide several layers of air insulation making this outfit good enough for temperatures down to -20F (-28.9oC). When I do not wear a layered indoor outfit I would wear this faux fur coat only down to -10F (-23.3oC).

Just curious? Do you wear items that you like, but your are not so into the sport, hobby, you name it, where these items originally came from?
