Sneakers are an it item this season. Well, they had been it in the 80s when everybody run around with a suit and sneakers. However, this time around, it is not the white clunky tennis shoe. Go for a dressy sneaker, colorful, embellished, metallic, may be with slight wedge heel, but most importantly much, much slimmer than the sneakers of the 80s.

Avoid styling them with washed out jeans or a pants suit. Think Karlie Kloss wearing a camel coat, white jeans, slim white sneakers and a white shirt doing her famous walk.

In this styling example, I went for wearing the silver sneakers with leather pants, a button-up shirt, pearls, and a trench coat that I wore instead of a blazer for Casual Friday.

How do you wear your sneakers this time around?
