Outfit inspirations with printed summer dresses
Summer is winding down. The trees are already turning yellow here in Interior Alaska. Can you believe that I already had to wear tights twice to feel comfortable? Temperatures are in the 50s (10oC) now during the day, and it is very, very humid. In other words, it rains. Brrrr. What’s even worse? The fog! Yesterday, there was fog when I drove to work! This means fall has arrived! Don’t get scared yet! I live at 64.8569N. Since you may have quite some nice summer days ahead, here some chic, ageless outfit inspirations with printed summer dresses. I hope you enjoy them.
Thus, it’s time to show you my last outfits of summer. So they can inspire you before fall reaches your latitudes. To be honest, this year fall seems a little early.
Well, let’s talk about something better – fashion. Here are my last outfits of this summer. I found this purple-red-white-black print dress at Sam’s Club and bought it because I loved its classic cut and the colors. I love cold bold, clean saturated color. I am a deep winter color type. What colors do you love?
This green dress was one of my favorites this summer. I wore it very often this summer. The Picasso inspired swirl print offers so many possibilities to combine it with other pieces. 😉
What was the piece that you wore most often this summer? Are you enjoying the last days of summer? Have you started already planning your fall wardrobe? Stay tuned, next week’s Ageless Style Series will address fall’s best and worst trends for women over 40. Tomorrow I will present the first outfit of fall.

Top of the World OOTDs
The Top of the World Style Winner is picked by a random generator from the party two weeks ago. The reasons are as follow: Each party runs a week minus 5 minutes. At the time of scheduling a new party, the old party is still in full swing and blogger still can join. To give all guests the same chance, the old party has to have closed before drawing the winner. In plain English, the Top of the World Style Winner visited the linkup party two weeks ago.
The winner of this week’s feature is Yvonne the blogger at Funky Forty who submitted her winning post at the 123rd linkup party.
The post by Alex at The Cheerful Closet became Top of the World OOTD Readers’ Fav as you clicked her post the most. She showed several ways to style shorts. We all hold on to summer as long as we can. Shorts are so comfy. 🙂
Brandi K, the blogger at Cute Brandi K, caught my eyes with her olive T-shirt with ruffles and her leopard print scarf. This outfit became my favorite of last week’s party because of she down plays the girly ruffles with the scarf, mirrored sunglasses and booties. Such a cool look. <3
