Review of Tenth Street’s Scala Collezione Grace Wool Cloche

I Can’t Resist a Hat

When you are already a reader of High Latitude Style for a while, you know I love, love, love hats ever since I was a toddler. I even wore a hat at my wedding! Knowing the great quality and selection at Tenth Street, I couldn’t resist to try a piece of their winter collection. I chose the Grace wool cloche in purple. It also comes in black, gray, blue, tan, and olive green.

What caught my eyes were the cool, statement color, the cute, but classic form and the practical solution to take the head gear with you when you pack for business travel. It folds down relatively flat so you can put it in your carry-on baggage. Typically, you only can do that with baseball hats, caps, and beanies. However, all of them are not the right head gear for a winter business trip. I hoped that the product would solve my problem of not having been able to take a serious hat with me when on air travel. Why I picked purple?

My Experience with the Hat

When the package arrived, I was preparing lunch. So my hubby opened it and put the hat on my head. It was a perfect fit right away and the material felt great on the skin. I couldn’t wait to see the piece in the mirror. Thus, he had to stir the fry until my return. I loved what I saw in the mirror. You wouldn’t think that you can fold the hat flat!

I also love the great quality of the wool and affordable price. You will love to know that the hat can be styled up for professional occasions, and down for the weekend or a night on the town with friends. When I wore it I received a lot of compliments. People all liked the combination of the stylish look of the hat with the ease of a cap.

Who Would also Love the Grace?

This product is a perfect fit for women who easily get cold on their head and need a coverage that works for visiting clients, going to site inspection or meetings in winter. This means all kind of professional situations where the customer, client, colleague, boss, you name it, sees also the outerwear. The style is a great alternative to a beret, for instance, which may be perceived as too flirty depending on the work dress code. I am thinking corporate style here.

I definitively would recommend this head gear to my best female friend.
