Lace and denim together can be easily pulled off
A pair of jeans with a white lace blouse is a great pants look even for the mature Romantic woman when the lace is high quality and not some cheap fabric from the teens’ department. Shiny lace looks cheap. Period. Thus, to have ageless style in lace

Sequins work great with floral print plus lace
A floral print embellished with sequins and an underskirt, camisole or full lace slip peeking out can be a great look for the Bohemian gal for going out. These types of outfit inspirations with lace, floral and sequins are easy to copy. Key is to go for mature colors and staying away from kitschy pastels. Navy blue, deep brown, black, gray, lavender, olive are great choices for the lace.
How to wear sequins at day, requires the sequins to be rather a “fabric structure” or embellishment than evening attire.

Recently, sequins conquered the day. A casual glam day look is the classic Tee with sequins and jeans. It’s thought of as a glammed up graphic Tee style. Another cool trendy denim plus sequin piece are colored denim pants with a sequin tuxedo-like stripe or a sequin patch jacket.
The Canadian or Texas tuxedo is a perennial trend
Denim-on-denim is a perennial trend. One key to how to look great in denim over 40 is to go with distinct different colors.

How to wear sequins, denim, and lace at once?
When? Casual Friday or on the weekend! Go for a lace skirt in a classic cut and neutral color like this black pencil skirt. Add a neutral solid color top. I went for a white T-shirt for the top. A light gray T-shirt would have worked too. Then add one of the trendy denim jackets with sequin embellishments or patches. Go for pumps in the color of your flesh. The wood watch works here because it also has a color close to my flesh. Finish with pearls in the color of the top to look professional.
Pearls are always appropriate. - Jackie Kennedy #quote #fashionquote Click To TweetWhy the all neutrals? In the outfit, there is a lot going on: Play with texture (lace, sequins), mate (top, lace skirt, pumps, basket) vs. shine (sequins, pearls). Thus, the neutrals (nude, black, white, denim) balance the colors of the sequins and build a canvas for the shine of the pearls and sequins.
If you like the outfit, it would help me if you pinned them to your own Pinterest board. It’s a great way that your friends, family, and others can see them too.
