Camouflage with pink for Casual Friday
Pink looks great with red, or black. It also plays well with brown. An often overlooked color combination is print with muted greens like those greens of a camouflage. Why does the latter combination work? The base colors of pink and muted green are red and green, respectively. The former is lightened up with white, and the latter with black. Black and white are a great pairing like red and green. So are the lightened up and darkened versions of them.Wear pink with camouflage for a sweet tough street chic look. #styletip Click To Tweet
I love the combination of pink with the shades of camouflage. Here I wear my camouflage cargo pants with my pink cashmere sweater and suede olive green utility jacket as a Casual Friday look for a Friday without work without meetings. To dress the outfit up a notch I added my pink pearls opera length necklace. Furthermore, at work, I slipped from my brown booties into my nude with pink cap toe pumps.
Outerwear also needs styling
Even though its spring time, it is still too cold in Alaska. Thus, a light winter coat is still a must. To stay with the camouflage colors and the street chic, I added my loden coat, a brown bag and brown booties. The outer outfit was my olive green motorcycle coat and my green beret. Matching the outerwear to your outfit permits you to open your coat when it warms up during the day and still look stylish.Never forget to style your outerwear. #styletip Click To Tweet
