Pink with Camouflage is a Do
Pink looks great with navy, red or black. Pink also plays well with brown. Interestingly, pink can be both a neutral or a fashion color. It all depends on how light or bright the hue is and whether it on the warm of cold side of the color palette. Consequently, there are many ways on how to wear pink.
An often overlooked color combination is with muted greens like those greens of a camouflage. And best in this combination pink can be either a neutral like in the featured photo or a fashion color. Why does the latter combination work? The base colors of pink and muted green are red and green, respectively. The former is lightened up with white, and the latter with black. Black and white are a great pairing like red and green. So pink and camo greens are the lightened up and darkened versions of them.Wear pink with camouflage for a sweet tough street chic look. #styletip Click To Tweet
How You Can Wear Pink and Camouflage on Casual Friday
I love the combination of pink with the shades of camouflage. Here I wear my camo pants with my neutral pink cashmere sweater and suede olive green utility jacket as a Casual Friday look for a workday without meetings. To dress the outfit up a notch I added my pink pearls opera length necklace. Furthermore, at work, I slipped from my brown booties into my nude with pink cap toe pumps.

Outerwear also needs styling
Even though its spring time, it is still too cold in Alaska. Thus, a light winter coat is still a must to wear with camo skinny jeans. There is not much insulation between the tight skinnies and your skin. 😉
Matching the outerwear to your outfit permits you to open your coat when it warms up during the day and still look stylish. In case of this outfit, you have to consider what colors go with camo green.
To stay with the army colors and the street chic theme , I added my loden coat, a brown bag and brown booties. The outer outfit was my olive green motorcycle coat and a beret. See this post for another styling idea for a beret.
