Can You Wear Camouflage over 50?
Think about it. There are many women in the military of the world who are over 50 and wear camouflage. Now how can you wear camouflage over 50 as a fashion statement? Just consider camouflage as a neutral color/pattern. Dressed up with a black blazer, pumps, and a gray turtleneck cashmere sweater they are great for a twist on Casual Friday outfits. I wore a more casual combination of these camouflage skinnies with a motorbike coat, and with a motorcycle leather jacket.
Tip: Style camouflage attire like a neutral color.

Which Colors Work with Camouflage?
Well, it depends on the hues of the print. When in the classic NATO green with brown, black and other hues of green, blush works well. A black cashmere sweater plus lace-up booties also makes a great look. Avoid to look like you are in the military.

Camo and Red Is a Classic
To make the look interesting it needs a pop of color. Red and green are complementary colors that work well together. To create the illusion of height I added tights in the same color.

Does Pink Go with Camouflage Green?
Pink looks great with navy, red or black. Pink also plays well with brown. Interestingly, pink can be both a neutral or a fashion color. It all depends on how light or bright the hue is and whether it on the warm of cold side of the color palette. Consequently, there are many ways on how to wear pink.

Why Can You Wear Pink with Army Green?
An often overlooked great color combination is pink with muted greens like those greens of a camouflage. The best of this combination is that you can style pink either a neutral like in the featured photo or as fashion color. Why does the latter combination work? The base colors of pink and muted green are red and green, respectively. The former is lightened up with white, and the latter with black. Black and white are a great pairing like red and green. So pink and camo greens are the lightened up and darkened versions of them.
How You Can Wear Pink and Camouflage on Casual Friday
The outfit that inspired the above look is the camo pants with a neutral pink sweater and olive green utility jacket. I wore it as an alternative of the usual Casual Friday outfits. To dress the outfit up a notch add pearls like the pink opera-length necklace. Repeat the pink somewhere in your outfit like in the inspiration the pink cap-toe pumps.

What Outerwear Goes with Camouflage?
The easiest way is a coat or parker in a color that repeats a color of the print.

Camouflage Pants with Pink B3 Shearling Bomber Jacket
I treated myself with this pink B3 shearling bomber jacket. I have loved it ever since I saw it. Finally, I decided to hit “Buy Now”. Why? Because the piece popped up in my mind again and again, I started thinking about to wear with it. This post shows the first look I came up with.
Tip: Match your outerwear to your outfit. It permits you to open your coat, and still look stylish.
The easiest way to style this outerwear is to go with army colors. A beret would also be a nice finishing touch instead of the white shearling hat. More on styling with hats.

Which Outerwear Goes with Camouflage Print Shoes?
On my way to the office, my olive lodden motorcycle coat, red bag, red leather gloves, and red floral scarf seemed a perfect match to my feet’s camouflage. 😉

Can You Wear a Hat with Camo Pants?
Sure, you can. The “outer outfit” is my motorcycle shearling coat, a hat that I found in a vintage store, gloves, structured bag plus booties. What I loved about this coat is that it goes equally well with pants than skirts.

How to Style with Camouflage Print Shoes
Camouflage shoes are a big trend right now. When I saw these camouflage booties in a magazine, I had to have them. When you are a regular reader, you know I love camouflage pattern.
But what to wear with them? It’s an army inspired print. Therefore, wearing an utility jacket with the camo shoes is a great option as it picks up the color of the shoes.
