Addressing Skin Problems Is a Must

My skin has several problems. The T-section is oily, while all other skin areas really suffer from the dry climate of Interior Alaska. Daylight 24/7 in summer and the reflection of winter sunlight on snow require sunscreen year round. Add menopause and stress into the mix and once in a while my total failure to resist a brownie or a bar of dark chocolate and you know what I’m talking about.

A while ago, I wrote a review about several of Zenmed’s anti-aging products: The retinol booster, clear peel, and recovery moisturizer. These products made my skin to look so much healthier and smoother than before. I was thrilled! Thus, I didn’t hesitate a moment when I was asked to try out some other Zenmed products, namely an oil-free day lotion, skin protecting lotion with SPF 30, AVT cream and oil-free moisturizer with SPF 30. Let me share my experience with these Zenmed products with you.

Zenmed’s Oil-Free Day Lotion Relieves My Itchy Dry Skin

You know these sleepless nights when your skin itches so much that you can’t fall asleep? The oil-free day lotion relieved my itchy skin! I like that it adds its nutrients and moisture without adding shine. My skin looked less shiny in the evening than with the product that I used before. I did not have to reapply and reapply to not have itchy skin from the dryness.

I know this aspect has nothing to do with the product itself, but it may be important for some of you. The 3 fl oz (88 ml) bottle comes with two caps (see photo). One push-dispenser that directly releases the soothing cream into your hand, and one that closes the bottle tight. Thus, you can transport the lotion in you cosmetic bag in your purse where ever you go. The Zenmed oil-free day lotion costs $24.95.

AVT Cream Combines Moisturizing with Anti-Aging Skin Care

I love the creaminess of the AVT cream. It is an anti-aging product with skin boosting peptides (matrixyl) and hyaluronic acid, vitamins A, B5, C, E, as well as argan, jojoba, and borage oils. It is a great moisturizer for my very dry skin. 2.5 fl oz AVT cream cost $34.95, which is in the ballpark of other anti-aging products. <3

Zenmed Skin Protecting Lotion with SPF 30 Showed Better Results in My Experiment

Yes, I can’t resist to do an experiment. Blame it on the nerdy scientist in me. I used the Zenmed skin protecting lotion with SPF 30 for 4 weeks on my right arm and my regular sunscreen on the other. See the difference yourself. My right arm got a more even, healthier skin tone and its skin looked smoother than the skin on my left arm (see photo below). Now the left arm gets the nice skin protecting lotion with SPF 30 too. Full disclosure, the Zenmed sunscreen is easier and faster to apply too and doesn’t make my skin look white like bones for 5-10 minutes.

A 2.5 fl oz (70 ml) cream tube cost $5, and is a bit more expensive than what I used before, but I think I’m worth it, don’t you think so? Anyhow, thumbs up for the lotion!

Comparison of my arms after 4 weeks of using the skin protecting lotion with SPF 30 c/o Zenmed on my right arm (in the front) and my former sunscreen on the left arm. The skin tone is more even and looks healthier and the skin surface looks smoother with the Zenmed lotion on my right arm than the product I used on my left arm.

Oil-Free Moisturizer with SPF 30

I used this oil-free moisturizer with SPF 30 with the anti-aging retinol booster on my face during the day and the recovery moisturizer at night. Once a week, I did the clear peel. If you missed my Zenmed anti-aging product review click this link. I like how soft my skin feels since I started using Zenmed’s products. They got at least one new client – me. The oil-free moisturizer with SPF 30 costs $19.96, one cent more than the SPF 25 product I used before. It’s a lucky penny you can find all the time. 😉

Have you tried a Zenmed skin care or anti-aging product already? I really love their new eye-serum (Here is the link, in case you missed my review of their new eye-serum).
