Mix Leopard and Plaid in One Outfit
It seems that I jumped the band wagon on fall’s mixing prints trend. O.K., plaid is also a fall trend this year or every year or an evergreen? Who knows? In this post, I show you an example of an eclectic style inspired business casual look. Mixing prints and patterns is only one way of many how to style non-boring outfits in all neutral colors.

Why This Tartan and Leopard Look Works
In this OOTD, I mixed plaid and leopard print. It works because the blazer and print have both various shades of brown. You can think of leopard as a neutral. Thus, the same colors are not as important in this case as when mixing other prints and patterns. However, to get a professional look neutral colors that occur in both separates are best. Ground the look with one solid color. In this example, black.
Tip: Mixing leopard prints are other animal prints is tricky. When not done right, you may look like a walking ad for the zoo.

Tip: Up your style with a chic hoodie vest.
Everyone can look great in animal prints and sophisticated in plaid.
