Jafferjees Has a Legacy for Exquisite Leather Goods

Awhile ago, I read an article about Jafferjees. It’s one of the oldest leather goods brands in the World. Since 1880, they sell handcrafted leather goods from artisans who are specialists in their craft. The name got stuck in my head, because I love leather bags that have a heritage, and design sense. Heritage and great design means that the style of their leather products is timeless and durable. Therefore, when I was asked to review a sample, I immediately agreed.

When I browsed their website, the sculpted Brigitte shoulder bag caught my eyes right away. The bag’s form is so interesting, different, and stylish. You can choose between fuchsia, black, and off-white. I picked the off-white version because I wanted the bag’s color to match the color of four of my coats.

Perfect as a Gift

After removing the package paper, I was very impressed. Inside was a carefully wrapped box with their signature gift wrapping paper and ribbon. Perfect when you have your order sent to a loved one. I double-checked their website. The gift wrapping service is free of charge! Inside was the bag in a cloth bag.

Technical Details of the Brigitte Shoulder Bag

The purse measures 320 mm x 90 mm x 235 mm, i.e., 12.6 in x 3.5 in x 9.3 in. It has a top zipper opening with a roomy single compartment. Inside there are zipper pockets and open pockets to store small items like your wallet, tickets, phone, keys. See the photo below to see what all can fit into it.

On the bottom, bolts protect the base of the bag (see zoom-in of outfit with floral coat). This detail is very important to me because it avoids wear, and that the leather gets dirty or even wet.

Unlike many other chain bags, the Brigitte has the chain linked to a shoulder strap. as a result, it is comfortable to wear and protects your garments. This detail is very thoughtful, and also looks very sophisticated.

The Brigitte has beautiful, high quality leather, and lush gold fittings. The design of this piece has the right amount of glamour and bling to look sophisticated and not over the top for everyday and going out. It makes every great outfit, effortlessly stylish. No matter what your personal style may be. A perfect finishing touch for all kind of looks.

What I Love about This Bag and Jafferjees

Their collections are full of items that look like pieces of art. It’s hard to just buy one product. The Brigitte is on the upper price end for only $89.84*. It is definitely worth its price, if not more. In plain English, the price-performance ratio is excellent.

I love the thoughtful details like the shoulder strap, and protective feet. But most of all, I love the timeless, unique design, and great craftmanship of the Brigitte as well as top quality real leather.

Another thing, I like is that Jafferjees has an after sales service. This means you can bring your beloved bag back to any of their stores for restoration. Such a service you only find for high-end international brands.
