Mirrored Sunglasses Are a Big Trend Right Now
I have adored mirrored glasses already as a kid. My dad used to have a pair. I have no explanation why it took me so long into midlife before I got my first pair. These trendy sunnies were the pair of mirrored glasses. Their color is somewhere between purple and blue, but according to the seller, they are purple. Interestingly, when you look through them everything is greenish. These mirrored sunglasses are my favorite pair for casual outfits. Often people are just shy to try a new style. They are also the first aviator frames. I am lucky to have an oval face. Thus, I only have to consider the size of the frame, not the look.

A Cool Sustainable Fashion Trend: Wood Frame Sunglasses
I am a big fan of wooden frames. Wood frames are made from organic layered wood and, hence, they are light-weight. Moreover, I never got a skin irritation from wooden frames, while I sometimes get them wearing metal frames. I guess the latter is because I am allergic to nickel. You can buy wood frame sunglasses at the link.

Pairing Sunglasses with Outerwear
During the white nights, in the mornings and evenings in spring and fall as well as during day in winter, the Sun is low in the sky. Consequently, I need to wear sunglasses daily on sunny days. Here is an outerwear outfit with motorcycle coat, camouflage booties, structured bag, and sunglasses, I wore in winter. Does it remind you of winter vacations in the Adirondacks or Rocky Mountains? Lake Placid and Salt Lake City come to mind.

When Should You Wear Sunglasses?
The short answer is polarized eyewear is a Must year-round whenever it is sunny. Why? In winter, the Sun is low in the sky blinking above the horizon and the sun beams are reflected on the icy roads and snow as well as wet roads after rain. The light reflection from these surfaces bears discomfort for your eyes without polarized sunglasses! Because of the reflections wear sunglasses for all winter outdoor activities like skiing, skijoring, walking the dogs, snow removing, etc.. What’s your favorite trend of the upcoming season? Is there a fashion item that you already loved as a kid? Let me know, I am curious.
Tip: Choose the right sunglass type for your personal style.
