Everyday women needs an everyday purse
What made me try this sample from thirty-one was the cool, smart look of this so called Around Town Tote. It is fascinating that its style works as a briefcase for the office, shopping at the mall, and for carrying sun cream, towels, sunglasses, magazine, etc. to the beach.
When I opened the package, and first held this vegan bag in my hands, it was hard to believe it’s not leather. The material has the same glow and pebble like real leather. It is well sewn and has nice details like the front pocket. The tan trim makes it look posh. The eight studs have a nice square engraved which ups the style of the item. The blue, tan, white color combination is an eternal classic.
Features to love
What I love about the handles is that they are long enough to function as shoulder straps and short enough to serve as handles (see photos).
When you travel light and a lot, you need a tote that takes your from the plane to a meeting, sightseeing and shopping, and to the beach. It also should look dressy and stylish, but not over the top. This thirty-one everyday tote does exactly that. It permits to carry a lot. The interior has a nice random polka dot print lining. There are two open pockets for glasses and cell phone and a zipped pocket for the wallet.
Casual style with a sophisticated touch perfectly describes this shopper. You can even have it personalized or your monogram added! <3
This bag costs $78 and definitively is worth its price. Since this it is for everyday, the price per wear is below a dollar after 79 days. Recall less than $1 per wear is my criterion for a great performance. Thumbs up.
How I used it
I wore the carry-all to the office with my baseball jacket (see photo above) over a fit-and-flare summer dress. The jacket served to stay warm in the AC at the office. After work, I went out to dinner on the deck to enjoy the sunshine. Since it was a beautiful warm summer evening, I took the jacket off. It made a nice casual posh summer look.
Who would love this around town tote?
The all-around town tote is a Must-have for all women who want a chic professional looking vegan tote. This product is perfect for every woman who wants/needs one posh casual go-to-bag for all kind of life situations (work, vacation, shopping, play-date). It’s also great when you don’t like matching your carry-all to your outfit. Its classic style takes you from work to vacation. You won’t need another purse except occasionally a clutch for a wedding or other formal events. I definitively would recommend this practical beauty to my bff. You can buy this everyday tote at thirty-one.

Theresa’s floral print rayon palazzo pants styled in the look of the 40s caught my eye. On her photos you could only see that these pants are pants and not a maxi skirt in the back view. Thus, I merged the front and back view into a collage as I didn’t want just to show her back. 😉 Theresa is the vintage style blogger at Blue Velvet Vintage. She is an ex yacht chef and caterer turned vintage clothing seller. On her blog she shares her passion for vintage fashion and style and how looking to the past can inspire ways to add more glamour and creativity into the today.Trends come and go, style stays. #agelessstyle Click To Tweet
