We all love dressing up, and what is more fun than dressing up in beautiful attire for a ball, party or wedding? Due to the upcoming ball season-think Valentine’s Day Ball or Winter Ball-and the on-going winter wedding season, I browsed the Ever Pretty collections for winter formal dresses.

The sequin short sleeve chiffon midi mother-of-the-bride/groom dress in navy blue caught my eye because of its genius design. As a midi dress, in a snow storm or on wet ground, it wouldn’t act as snow plow or get spoiled by splashes when walking from the car to the venue and vice versa. Its simple elegance permits wearing the dress to all kind of festive events including festive business casual.

Are Ever Pretty Dresses True to Size?

Because every designer and brand have their own sizing, I have made it a habit to always take my measures before ordering online. According to my measures and their size charts, I needed different a size 4 in the mother-of-the-bride dress and a size 6 in the high-low hem party dress.

Both dresses are true to their own size chart. I wish all online stores had a size chart for each of their garments.

What Are My Likes/Dislikes of these Ever Pretty Dresses?

Besides the designs and individual size charts for each garment, I like the continuous high quality of craftmanship at affordable prices. Furthermore, the brand covers a wide range of styles from minimalist, over romantic, classic, Bohemian to maximalist style. They offer affordable formal wear in very small sizes to plus size (4-26) as well as in maternity style. Most garments come in multiple colors to choose from.
