FlexClip Launched an AI Video Magic Tool
As you know, I am a big fan of the FlexClip video-making software. On Wednesday, they released a new tool that makes creating videos even easier. The tool is especially valuable for small businesses, content creators, and startups that don’t have an in-house advertising department or a budget to hire a professional designer.
Thousands of Ready-To-Use Templates at Your Fingertips
There are more than 1000 templates to choose from. The templates encompass various business categories and their typical video demands. However, they also cover family-related subjects so that you can create videos of your vacation, wedding, and other family events. There are templates for content creators in all fields.
How I Created my First Video with the New Tool
I picked the “corporate promo” template. As recommended, I uploaded 15 images: the page covers of my fashion-related books, the HLS logo, four photos of me, and pictures of my paintings featuring the Fairbanks metropolitan area. My goal was to test the ease of creating a promo video via the new AI-video-magic feature. Many small businesses have no budget to pay a professional designer for this task.
AI then analyzed the uploaded media, generated text, and merged the scenes. AI recognized that the subject was art and a city, and altered the template’s text accordingly. The design was neat, and a perfect draft video to start with.
Customization of the Draft Video
I started by updating the text to align with my brand High Latitude Style. Therefore, I just duplicated the first scene. Next, I substituted the painting of the first scene with my photo to create a title page. To avoid distraction, I removed the background using the AI background remover. FlexClip is one of the best on the market for this task, in my opinion.
The picture without a background is saved in the AI folder, not in the media folder. To remove the photo, detach it from the scene, and add the picture without a background to the scene. Next, I rewrote the subtitles and titles of all scenes.
Methods to Add the Branding
Because the original font style didn’t match my branding, I changed it. To save time, there is a link that applies the changes to all scenes.
Of course, once you alter the text, you may need to adjust the font size to fit the template’s layout. At some points, I didn’t need a text box, so I deleted it.
Inserting the brand logo into the foreseen box is tricky. I circumvented it by just adding my brand logo as a layer.
The FlexClip AI Video Magic Is a Real Timesaver
The original template introduced a business by outlining what they do, their services, history, team, etc. If you follow this scheme, it takes about an hour or so to create the customized video.
However, I modified the template to promote my blog, books, and watercolor paintings. Nevertheless, it took me less than two hours to create the video. In other words, the more closely a template aligns with what you want to promote or achieve, the less personalization is needed. Consequently, the less time it takes from uploading the photos to downloading the video.
