My Reaction when Opening the Package

The great craftsmanship of the coverup impressed me. Given the price tag ($54.99) I had expected that the beads are glued on. However, they are actually weaved in – read on the yarn – of which the coverup is made. No wonder that my husband said “That’s a nice stole. Did you order it?” And indeed, because of this detail the coverup can also multi-task to dress up a LBD for a dance party, going out for dinner on vacation (see photos below) or date night. A perfect piece for any vacation wardrobe.

Why Did I pick the Rue Black Fringe Sarong?

Their coverup collection ranges from full-body coverage to flirty designs. I was looking for a coverup to use when visiting hot springs. My favorite place has a section where you can drink non-alcoholic beverages or eat a snack. When you sit on the stool, your legs are exposed. Despite my legs are my best feature, I don’t like to show them from the boom to the toes. No idea why. The coverup gives me the feeling of coverage while still showing off my legs. It permits me to show off skin strategically. Less skin is more. Problem solved!

Definitely the craftmanship and the delicate timeless design. The yarn is study so I expect the piece to last for several years. It is also very affordable and versatile. I love when you can wear/style a piece for multiple occasion. Therefore, the cost-per-wear will go easily below $1 over its tenure in any wardrobe. Consequently, I have no hesitation to recommend this IVY Swimwear coverup to my friends and family.
