Go beyond the Ads Suggestions
Every fashionista is well aware of the British fashion label Blue Vanilla, which is one of the rising women’s clothing brands. You probably have come across their catchy banner in the ads on various sidebars. It displays beautiful young women in various variations of great, eye-catching fashion-forward outfits with a white shop now box on the bottom. You never hit the button, well, yes, the lady in that adorable dress is not your age. You think, if only I could wear that beautiful Blue Vanilla tunic.

When you just skim over one of their banners, you may be easily misled to believe that this brand is for twenty something women only, and/or that this brand has nothing to offer for us 40 something.
Wrong! So wrong! So very wrong!
Unlike many other trendy brands, Blue Vanilla focuses on style-driven, beautiful silhouettes and feminine shapes that are distinct and elegant. That’s what we 40 something and beyond focus on too, right?
When you like a piece of clothes, try it on. You may or may not look great in it. If you love what you see, buy it. Click To TweetWhat You Can Find at Blue Vanilla
Blue Vanilla’s huge collection encompasses pretty dresses, skirts, printed tops and chic knitwear in a variety of stylish, fun, and modern designs. You can style these items up with the more expensive basic items already in your closet to get the cool vibe of free-spirit and glamour, preppy style and the latest trend into your wardrobe – one item at a time.
Blue Vanilla Has a Great Price-performance Ratio
The price of this modern (color), classic tunic (cut, diamond pattern) with a twist (zip pockets) is $34. The tunic offers various styling possibilities. Thus, it will be fast below one dollar per wear – my criterion for a great price-performance ratio.
Styling Suggestions for a Tunic Dress
For this post, I styled the Blue Vanilla tunic as a dress which worked as I am petite (5ft4, 163cm). It would also look great with black or white pants or over a light blue, white or black pencil skirt for work. You can wear the tunic with leggings and high heels for date night. In fall, I would wear it with a turtleneck layering top underneath and matching tights. If you want to go very edgy, wear the tunic with leather pants and black pumps for First Friday or a fashion event.

Summary of the Blue Vanilla Dress Review
Blue Vanilla has pieces that work for any age when paired with personal style and, hence, should not be overlooked by us 40+ when searching for budget-friendly right-on-trend clothes for wardrobe updates.
