Technical Details

For science nerds, some technical details you may want to know about the Ariana wedge slides from Vionic Shoes. The buckle has three holes to adjust the slide to comfort. The natural cork foot-bed is covered with suede that keeps your feet dry on hot summer days. The rubber sole gives good traction even on wet surfaces. Research suggests that the Orthaheel Technology used for Vionic Shoes reduces over-pronation. Note that over-pronation is known as a major cause for heel pain (plantar fasciitis), knee pain and lower back pain.
