No Outfit Is Complete without a Scent: Why to Apply Perfume to Last all Day
For my money, no outfit is complete without spraying on a perfume. It’s all about the five senses: Hearing, seeing, feeling, tasting and smelling. Tasting? Yes, clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and perfume are better than chocolate and wine. They don’t add calories. And even when you have too many, they won’t make you fat. Feeling: The fabric on your skin! Hearing? The click clap of your heels. Seeing? Your reflection in the mirror, windows at the mall, and even in the water. Smelling? I love to “wear” a classic designer scent that is recognizable for those in the know, but smells modern. Parfum is a Must for Euro Chic, and the ultimate French Woman Style.
No, I don’t put it on for other. On the contrary, I put it on for nobody, but me. Well, because my nose just loves to inhale the scent of every flower there is. Unfortunately, there is no mean to post the bouquet, but I’ll try my very best to describe the A Caribbean Original Eau de Parfum received from Tiv for review. Description of the Fragrance
When the package arrived, I immediately took the photos of the box and bottle. I just couldn’t wait to apply the fragrance to my neck, inside my elbows, on my inner wrists and the back of my knees. The spritzes unfolded an elegant, pleasing scent of rich natural ingredients. A great balanced blend where none of the ingredients dominates. A hint of sultry, extravagant, spicy, woody and fresh bold blossoms. Like wandering thru Hemingway‘s yard with many different flowers in full bloom at the same time. Unique like the wearer.
Tip: Never spray perfume all over yourself. You would not only wasting money by over-applying, but also would overwhelm everyone around you. Best is a distance of 6 inch (15 cm) with a spritz on the inner wrists, inner elbows, neck and the back of the knees.
Tip: When people can smell you coming, it’s too much. And too much of anything is never in style.
What I Love about the Tiv Caribbean Original Eau de Parfum
After application I went downstairs to sit down at the dining table where my husband was reading a book. When I reached for the chair he lifted his head and said “You looks so beautiful and smell so great! Is this a new perfume? I love it!” Then he laid the book aside and stood up saying “You know what? Let’s go out for dinner. You smell too good to cook.” In my head, I was like “Wow, I have to remember that.” It reminded me of the following quote I once saw on Pinterest

Price-Performance Ratio
A Caribbean Original is available in three different strengths: Parfum, Eau de Parfum, and Eau de Toilette. The right intensity to use for special events like going to the opera or date night; family reunions, weddings, etc.; as well as at work and play. The Tiv Parfum come in a delicate 0.25 oz (7.4 ml) rose bottle for $37.50. The Eau de Parfum 75 ml (~2.5 oz) and Eau de Toilette spray bottles cost $69.50 and $57.50, respectively.
Tip: Reapply only if you are using eau de toilette.
A high quality perfume like Tiv has such a high concentration of scents any reapplication during a night would be an overdo. Read not elegant! In my opinion, even their eau de parfum needs no touch up during the day or night. In other words, it’s a great value for the price. The costs of all three versions are in the range of what you pay for high quality of their kind. Actually, probably slightly cheaper and hence more affordable than the average of the pack.
Therefore, it’s not a big risk to try it out.
