Tiers! Welcome to the party! I am so excited to co-host Style Me Wednesday with my friend Liz, the blogger behind Shopping My Closet. Her style approach mixes high and low, dresses up closet essentials, and pairs the timeless with the current. Follow her as she illustrates how you can have an on trend and timeless look by incorporating the items already in your closet into a stylish everyday look.
Ways to follow her are via bloglovin, instagram, facebook or pinterest. You can follow me via bloglovin, twitter, facebook, pinterest or simply by subscribing to my blog via email here on wordpress. You find the form here.
As you see from my outfit photo, Fairbanks is now wearing her beautiful white dress called snow cover.;) I am wearing my long leather off white coat. It has a quilted lining and provides enough insulation for temperatures in the positive double digits. Underneath, I wore my black leather pants that are lined too. I paired them with a plaid shirt and a cotton cardigan that has black sequins in the front. I love the tension between the sequins and the plaid plus leather. This look of sequins with otherwise casual attire can be often found at parties in the Fairbanks area. Wearing fancy dresses at parties at below freezing temperatures can be quite health adverse. 🙁
Now let’s party and see what you are wearing and who is already there. Welcome to the Style Me Wednesday link-up party. Oh, did I mention that you can bring your friends? Tweet them about the link-up party or post it on facebook. The more guests, the more fun.
Visit my blog tomorrow for an American classic outfit. On Friday I will present ideas for a last minute Halloween outfit. See you soon and thanks for stopping by. 🙂
