Looking Lucky style challenge trend cropped

As I mentioned in one of my earlier posts I participated in Sarah’s Real Life’s Looking Lucky 10 Trends Style Challenge. This post shows my idea of how to go with the cropped trend.

The challenge: Cropped trend over 50

At 40+, showing some skin between a skirt/pants and top seems not looking very professional. I would put a shirt under a cropped top. However, where showing skin is very pretty, tasteful and looks very sophisticated is wearing capris. Capris are a really Euro Chic summer classic. How can one be wrong with a classic? To not sail into boring, but classic territory I added my floral pumps. You can find another example of how I wear this classic trend at the link.

Are you jumping the bandwagon of the cropped trend? Which way will you do the cropped trend? Cropped tops, pants? What do you think is the biggest challenge of the cropped trend for women in midlife? Let me know, I am curious.
