See what you loved to read in January

Alaska January work outfits

Can you believe that the first month of the year is already over? Time seems to fly! Where did it go? The good thing, however, is to have fun with fashion in the meanwhile. In today’s post, I recap the highlights of January’s posts and present you a new OOTD.

Business casual OOTD with turquoise boots

This outfit is pretty simple. It makes use of the colors of the skirt. The greenery and turquoise are repeated in the scarf, and the boots. The belt serves to define the waist. I went for a statement belt and decided against a necklace. On a petite frame like mine, a statement belt plus necklace would be overwhelming. The distance between two focal points would be too short.

I wore the outfit at work and we went out for some bites at a bar after work.

Fashion linkup parties

Thanks for all of you who linked up to the Top of the World Style party this month. I am looking for co-hosts for the party. As a co-host you get a free feature at the Top of the World Style party. All you have to do is to  let me know that you are interested. We then will agree on a date. I will send you the linkup code that you add to your post on the weekend before the agreed date.

The first Ageless Style Linkup party was under the theme Baby, it’s cold outside. There were a lot of inspirations how to style outerwear. Well, it got really cold in January with 40 below zero here in Fairbanks and I couldn’t wear my bikini. 🙂 When you missed the post on what happened on that frigid cold day click the link.

Did you know that you don’t need a blog to participate in the party and the community? You can also linkup your Instagram posts. Try it out at the ongoing linkup party.
