With this classic Julia Roberts like outfit of a black turtleneck under a hounds tooth blazer I want to introduce you to Adea. This brand specializes in classic, timeless layering tops, camisoles, and lingerie in posh fabrics from Italy. The fabric is a stretch microfiber polyamide-elastane blend which has a luxurious feeling like silk when you touch it. The fabric stretches in all direction and bounces back into shape. This characteristic allows for great freedom of movement.

This black adea turtleneck top that I chose from their collection, hugs my body just in the right places (see photos below). The body conscious fit provides just enough ease to provide an insulating layer of air between the fabric and my skin. Since the fabric is light and thin, it is great for layering which is a must in a cold region climate like Alaska. The fabric is fancy enough that you could wear it as the only layer when you live in a warm climate region. Another plus for warm climate regions is that the fabric provides a UV protection of 50+. I really appreciate this as I once got an ugly sunburn thru a fabric! Another thing I like about this adea layering top is that the fabric is very breathable and resists wrinkling. thus, it still looks chic after a long travel on a plane or having been in your baggage for a while.

Adea has a great selection of styles from camisoles to leotards as well as a great choice of colors for their items. The long sleeve turtleneck layering top, for instance, comes in black, white, off white, pewter, oxblood and misty gray. Their pieces come at affordable prices with a great price to performance ratio. Adea covers the size range from misses to plus size. This means they offer their luxury underwear and layering products to all of us.

Adea products are all made in Italy and the USA. Adea uses Italian sizes, but it is no problem at all, as their size chart has the conversion to the letter sizes as well as measurements (which I prefer to use). When looking at the sample I received from adea, I would recommend go up a size up to keep it, office appropriate when you want to wear the top alone, i.e. not for layering.

Adea ships to the Europe, Australia and New Zealand for a flat rate of $10.95 with the USPS 1st class international service. They offersa 30-day return policy except for sales. Thus, there is no risk in trying their pieces out.

In summary: In my opinion, this Adea turtleneck layering top is a timeless must-have for every professional midlife woman at an affordable price. It is worth every cent. I would recommend it to my BFF.
