July went by in a fly
Can you believe that it is already August? August is the rain season and by its end the leaves will have turned yellow here in the Interior. I can’t believe that summer will be gone in just four weeks. Before I catch up on the preparation of my wardrobe and closet for fall, I recap July. Hey, July means summer! Let’s try to hold on to it at least a little bit for a moment.

In July, the Top of the World Style parties were well attended with over 100 awesome outfits, on average. <3 Thank you all for linking up your blog and Instagram outfit posts. It’s so much fun to see so many different looks all on one page! You can still join the current party. Of course, please bring your friends. Who doesn’t like big parties? In July, the Ageless Style Linkup party featured shorts as a theme. The outfit posts demonstrated that we can look great in shorts in fashion over 40! Currently, August’s party is in full swing and you still can join with your outfit posts.
The paradox of last chance tourism, the risks and dangers of undeveloped rivers, Alaskan parents’ nightmare of no fireworks on Independence Day, and Alaska’s old cars were discussed in the series Focus Alaska. The themes of the Ageless Style series covered shorts over 40 with the framework of the Ageless Style linkup, what to wear on a field trip as a woman engineer, and short summer vacation outfit ideas.
July’s blogger roundup discussed body discrimination and how to cope with it without being unfriendly or feeling hurt. It also made aware that it can happen to everybody.

By Way of Berlin and I met for dinner. You can imagine that we two fashionistas had a great time talking about fashion, style, blogging, travel and culture. We even missed to take a photo of our food despite it looked instagram worthy, and tasted even better. The most funny thing was when we found out that we even had lived in the same town at the same time! The World is so small!
