Happy Independence Day to all my American readers. Happy Friday to all other readers.
Independence Day during white nights
In the Lower 48s, there will be a lot of public fireworks tonight. The fireworks must be a great view from the international space station. Like a fabric with little stars in all colors. But there will be no fireworks in Fairbanks, Alaska. Why? A firework needs darkness. Currently, we do not have dark nights. They are white until about August 10. Read more about white nights.

OOTD
Now back to my OOTD and how to stay warm when you can go out to watch the fireworks or just go out on a late summer evening. Here I am wearing my leather capri with a black silk cashmere sweater – a summer outfit suitable for temperatures in the lower 70s (about 20oC). To stay warm late in the evening I throw on a denim jacket. Beige, blue and black are always a fool proof color combination. Tweet this.
What are you wearing to go out tonight? Let me know by email, I am curious.
