The top of my fashion wish list item
As we approach winter Solstice taking photos outside for the blog gets more and more difficult. Currently, we are loosing 10 minutes of daylight per day. In a week, this loss is more than an hour! 🙁
The snow is not of any help either. It is a real struggle to not end up with a white background and a black silhouette of a woman (me) presenting fashion over 40. Thus, a more sensitive objective is on the top of my fashion wish list.
Of course, there are the dream items every fashionista would love to have. But they are just Lust while a low light objective feels like a fashion must have.
A friend of ours is a professional photographer. His camera has a very expensive low light objective. His hobby is to take photos of dancers (read fast motion) on Alaska dance flours (read low light) and you actually can see the colors, arms and legs! Yes, no wings, no cut-off hands or something! 🙂
Of course, I can’t afford an objective like that. He bought it for Alaska outdoor weddings (read dimmed light when the sun sets behind the snow-covered mountains, still capturing the tears of joy).
A low light objective is on the top of my fashion wish list. What is on the top of your wish list? Do you think your “Santa” will listen? Or are you your own Santa? Let me know. I am curious. Send me an email.
Top of the World Style linkup-party
Welcome to the Top of the World Style fashion linkup part No. 37. Thanks to those of you who linked up last week to my Thanksgiving edition. You are all so stylish! 🙂 The Readers’ Fav OOTD goes to the link you clicked the most which was Linda’s post. She is the blogger of A Labour of Life. Green and blue are such a great color combination. Duc aka Salazar from 14 Shades of Grey caught my eyes with the extreme shades of her grey shades black and white. She became My Fav OOTD. What a nice casual outfit for a young woman.
Congrats ladies, please grab your respective featured Top of the World OOTD button.
