A scarf ups your style
Which woman doesn’t love scarves? They can up an outfit from good to great. They make a casual outfit look cool, and a classic outfit look sophisticated. Scarves can make the cold of winter more bearable when worn as another layer over the coat. Scarfs add individual style. Scarves don’t take much space in the closet. Thus, one can have many of them. So many that you can build an escape robe from the Empire State Building. There are so many reasons why you should accessorize with scarves.

How to wear two scarves as one
Of course, you need to know how to tie scarves for style or how to braid a scarf as a necklace. In the look of today, I tied two scarves in the back, wrapped them once around my neck and let the tails hang down.
Why two scarves, not just one? I wanted to repeat the colors of the outfit for a pulled together look.
Tying two scarves together are a great stylist's trick to pull a look together. #styletip Click To Tweet
I searched my closet for two scarves with similar design in the colors I needed to pull the look together. Similar design is important so the scarves prints don’t fight each other, but look like they are just one long scarf in the different colors of the outfit. This trick is just one of the many ways to how to up your style with scarves.

How do you like this inspiration to pull a look together? Have you tried wearing more than one scarf in one outfit? How did you do it? What are your challenges regarding styling them?

Yvonne at Funky Forty became Top of the World OOTD Readers’ Fav as you clicked her post the most. Her awesome summer dress is from a New Zealand designer. It looks like it was designed for her. It is so funky Yvonne. <3

Emma the blogger at Style Splash became Top of the World OOTD My Fav. I liked her combining a midi skirt with a biker jacket. It’s a nice change from the usual jeans and biker jacket look. The necklace is girlie and tough at the same time. A nice combination of sweet girl meets tough guy, sort of. 😉
