Hitting the green

When the landscape is white, wear some green

It looks like, with all the snow, I  needed some green green this morning. It is funny that in summer, I never wear green. To be honest this turtleneck is the only green item in my closet. Green is not one of my favorite colors, but this cashmere turtleneck called my name in the store on a gray winter day, and I love this sweater. I guess it is because with all the snow for nearly six to seven month one just wants to see something green, at least once in a while. You saw this green turtleneck sweater paired with a plaid aheath.

This time I paired the green cashmere sweater with my white leather pants and white pumps for work. You have seen these white leather pants with a red turtleneck sweater.

Since it was a lousy cold day I wore my short shearling coat with a Russian scarf that you know from my “home made” costume for the Golden Day Parade. This scarf was a gift from a very good friend. She bought it on a business trip in Moscow. When she gave it to me I was really excited that she had picked this unusual color combination. It gives this classical traditional scarf such a great modern vibe. She has a great sense for style.
