A thrifted dress can be a wardrobe favorite
Today’s outfit features one of my favorite dresses. It was a perfect thrift find. I love this color, shirt dresses, sleek cuts, 3/4 length sleeves, and high waist styles. It all had that and has a perfect fit. Can you believe that it was only $12? Thus, I couldn’t resist to get it even though I have already several great dresses in my wardrobe.

There is a little consignment store in the College Mall in College close to the UAF campus. When I am running errands in that area, I always stop by for browsing. One never knows what one will find. Most of the time I leave without buying. When thrifting one has to be o.k. with not finding anything and leaving the store without buying. Otherwise one ends up with “closet monsters” – you know – these clothes that just take up real estate, because you never wear them.

Thrifting requires not only discipline not to buy when it is not calling your name, but also on not wasting time. Well, timing is also an important point to land awesome thrift finds.

Do you thrift? What are your thrifting tips and tricks? What are you looking for when you go thrifting? Do you go alone or with a friend? What were your best thrift scores? What are your challenges regarding thrifting? Let me know, so I can help you and write more posts that you want to read. Thank you very much in advance.
