Normally, I am not a big fan of fit-and-flare dresses or skirts. To be honest, before buying this one, I only had one other fit-and-flare dress in my closet. I had that dress bought for swing dancing, i.e. it had to be fit-and-flare to get the style of that epoch right. However, when I saw this black leather fit-and-flare dress I needed to try it out. I was a little skeptical because of the girlishness, but my husband loved the dress on me so I got it. To stay warm, I wear tights and a half slip. I added my fuchsia cashmere sweater that I knotted in the front as it would hang too long when worn open and hence destroy the nipped in waist of the dress. Too toughen it up I added my Harley Davidson booties. To keep it polished and grown up I finished the outfit with three strings of pearls.
