Fall trend black and white

There is probably hardly a women who does not like the classic black and white. Thus, fall’s black and white trend is probably one of the hardest trends to pull off as everyone wears it. The goal is to look not like being in a uniform when wearing the black and white trend. Furthermore, any fashion over 40 should be 100% you to not look like a fashion victim.

The leather trends

My version of the black and white trend is to combine it with the leather trend. Leather is an important element of my signature look. I found this classic tailored black and white blazer this fall when browsing in a boutique in College. I styled it with a cotton 3/4 sleeve polka dot cardigan that was an addition to my wardrobe this summer and my pleated black leather skirt. I like to wear cardigans instead of blouses or shirts as they are warmer, but similarly preppy. I added white shoes as they are sort of unexpected. To give the outfit a little edge I added a studded belt. Voila, classic with a twist for the classic black and white trend.

Do you wear leather? Do you wear several trends in one outfit? What are your favorite trends of this season? Just curious.
