Denim jacket for Casual Friday in fall
In summer, my denim jackets serve as cover-up on chilly evenings or mornings here in Interior Alaska. In fall, they serve as part of my layering strategy. When you know that winter may bring days with temperatures below -40F (-40oC), you try to not wear the thick jackets or coats already in fall when temperatures are just above the freezing point. Thus, denim is a posh way to go. 😉
Why this denim look works in fall
In Interior Alaska, one can just walk out in the above outfit on a nice clear sky, sunny fall day, despite of temperatures just above freezing. This clothing works because the Interior is very dry. It just does not feel that cool on a day with low relative humidity. Think of Interior Alaska as a cold desert. 🙂
What do you wear in fall on Casual Friday? I am curious.
