Before I come to my new OOTD, a brief recap on my series. I continued my mini series Dress for Success. The new four issues were on suggestions for Office Holiday Parties, travel, Family Reunion, and New Year’s Eve. You can find previous posts in the High Latitude Style Archive. The next post of this series goes up next Wednesday, January 7.
Avoid rocky blogging mistakes featured the Re-sizing of Photos. The next post of this monthly series goes up Tuesday, January 13, 2015.
Now to the new OOTD. Outside I wore my chocolate shearling coat that I belted for shape (first photo of this post). The tan belt with its many brown shades of its tiger-eye buckle ties the outfit of various brown shades together. Orange mixed with black gives brown. Thus, adding blue jeans to any shades of orange or brown always works well.
My indoor outfit was composed of a two color leather versatile jacket (photo below). The brown of the jacket picks up the brown of the ducks, the winter white picks up the winter white of the sweater underneath. The scarf ties the blues and browns together plus adds some gold for interest.
