What I wore when writing in the snow
On windy days, I like to wear my A-line cherry colored tea-length leather skirt. Here I paired it with my Irish cable-knit sweater for a casual vibe. My photographer caught me writing HLS into the fresh snow 😉 , but I thought the photo works to show the short over long of the outerwear look. To not make the long skirt and heavy sweater overwhelm my frame I paired the outfit with my wedge sneakers. They give some height, are comfy, and insulate my feet from the ground. Cold feet is the last that you want being outside at -20F (-28.8C). I wore a layering top underneath the cable-knit sweater for some extra insulation. When it is windy the wind chill gives the feeling of an even lower temperature than it actually is.
How do you protect yourself on a windy cold winter day?
