After the first snow of the 2013/2014 winter fell last week, I accepted to switch to winter clothing even though the snow did not last yet. However, temperatures are now below the freezing point in the mornings. In today’s outfit photos, I am wearing a long-sleeve black T-shirt under my short-sleeve burgundy cashmere sweater. Since it is still a little bit cool when sitting at work, I added an olive suede utility jacket that matches with the cargo pants. The black socks with burgundy dots pick up the black of the camouflage cargo pants and the color of the sweater and T-shirt. The brown plateau heeled loafers pick up the brown in the cargo pants and the color of the sweater and dots. The plateaus provide good insulation when waiting for the shuttle on campus. For the commute to work and running back and forth to the library, office and lecture hall, I added my Burberry Prorsum Motorcycle lodden coat to stay warm at the sub-freezing temperatures in the early morning.
Those of you not living in the subarctic enjoy every fall day you can. Winter will come to you soon too. 😉
