Outfits you loved in December
Another year and month have passed by. A new year brings new opportunities and reflection about the past. I already talked about my New Years resolutions regarding High Latitude Style and reviewed the past year in outfits and posts. This post recaps the best outfits of December with respect to fashion over 40.

What I wore today
Now to the new OOTD. Recently, I like the combination of red and brown. It is not as stark a contrast as red and black. The latter color combination can have some sultry vibe. Red and brown looks more professional, may be even a bit European.Red plus brown is the new red plus black. #fashiontrends Click To Tweet
The outerwear look kept the red-brown color theme enhanced with a red tote. I added tan as a third color with the head band. At this time a year, covering the ears is an urgent need in Interior Alaska. I always try to also cover the earrings. They get cold fast and once you take your outerwear off, long cold earrings hurt when they touch your neck. 😉 Think of it as a similar pain to that caused by earrings that got hot in the sauna and touch your skin.
Which color combination do you like better? Black and red or brown and red? Or do you think it depends on the occasion you dress for? How do you choose your color combinations? Let me know by email. I am curious.
