April in reflection
April flew by like nothing. Despite I had the feeling that it took forever for the snow to go away. Here in Alaska we are now looking forward to green-up, which is on average on May 4 plus/minus a week. Here in brief a recap of April’s best posts, events and outfits on High Latitude Style according to my readers.

Now to the new OOTD. Blue and white are a big trend this summer. Thus, I created this trend artificially by adding pearl necklaces over the blue part of the color blog dress. Since color blocking is also a spring trend, I am actually wearing two trends at once. It does not feel over the top for a 40+ woman as pearls, blue plus white, and color blocking are classics.

For the commute to work I added my boxy leather coat as it was relatively windy for Interior Alaska conditions. Leather is great to keep the wind off.
