My friend Sylvia from 40+ Style offers a 21 steps style course that starts on February 2. It’s made in the form of a style challenge of 21 days. I love a challenge and so I will jump on it. She had a similar one last January (see my post about it here) and it was so much fun. Participants will stick around with other fashionistas in their own private group and forum. If you take a style challenge the first time, a major outcome will be your discovery and creation of your own unique style.

Her style challenges start out with explaining a concept. Then you are asked a question or assigned a task related to your style. This challenge makes you think about what you wear, and makes you discover yourself. Reflecting about yourself is incredibly inspiring, and shows in advanced style.

Why am I – a fashion and style blogger – taking her 21 steps to a more stylish you style challenge? I could just cite my teacher’s saying “Learning is like rowing against the stream, if you stop you fall back.” Instead I would like to answer with two words: Professional development. Recall I took Blogging 201 and Writing 101 on WordPress last year.

If you want to join me, you can sign up for the course here.
