Another month has passed by in a fly. The countdown to Christmas has started and so has the stress of shopping for gifts. Rest for a moment, and enjoy reading the November recap.

Fashion linkup parties
Thanks for all of you who linked up to the Top of the World Style party this month. The next party goes up on Thursday.
I am also looking for co-hosts of the party. It is free and you get a free feature on my blog. All you have to do is just dropping me an email with your interest, inserting the code I will send you in your post and promote the linkup on the day of the party.
The party now has a community on google+. When you are interested, just join the Top of the World Style – Fashion over 40 Community where we share outfit ideas all week long.
Some of my blogging friends and I run the Ageless Style Linkup party each first Tuesday of a month. The theme of November was shopping outfits. December’s optionary theme is Christmas outfits. I hope you can join on December 6, 2016.
Did you know that you don’t need a blog tparticipate in the parties and the community? You can also linkup your Instagram posts. Try it at this week’s party. 🙂
In this month’s expert roundup, I asked seven fashion and style bloggers, who live abroad, to share their experience how dressing differs between the country they came from and the country they now live in. If you missed the post, read it! You will be suprised! 😮
My blogging friends and I run a couple of giveaways this months. I also run a giveaway of my style book How to Dress for Success in Midlife. There is a new giveaway coming up soon. Thus, stay tuned.

What would you like to read about Alaska? Which outfit was your favorite this month? Which post did you like the most? What are your fashion challenges? Let me know by email. I am curious how I can help you and add more on what you want to read more about.
I found this awesome faux fur sweater shown in the photos above and couldn’t resist to buy it. It has the faux fur only in the front, but I guess that is necessary as otherwise I wouldn’t fit in any of my coats. 😉 Nevertheless, the sweater is perfect for Alaska winter when temperatures are in the double digits below zero. Finally, a sweater in which I didn’t feel cold when we took the outfit photos at -4F (-23.3oC). 🙂 It makes a nice casual streetstyle statement and is perfect for Casual Friday at the university when I don’t have to attend a meeting.
What do you wear on a cold Friday without meetings? Would you wear this sweater?
