Hydrating day cream is like vacation for your dry winter skin

Today I want to introduce you to The Jojoba Company‘s Australian Hydrating Day Cream. This moisturizer has a silky feel. It absorbs quickly into the skin to protect the skin all day against the dehydrating effects your skin is exposed to in winter. The low water vapor content of air in heated room, as well as the low water vapor content of air outside at temperatures in the double digits below zero (less than -23o).

Natural all vegan ingredients

This day cream is made exclusively with 100% natural Australian jojoba grown, nurtured and harvested on the company’s own farms in the Australian shrub desert. Natural Australian jojoba is high in the naturally hydrating antioxidant vitamins A, D and E. Furthermore, the plant protects from soil erosion by wind uptake.

A great smell and SPF 15 included

In addition to the jojoba, this Hydrating Day Cream benefits the skin by other botanicals and vitamins. Further ingredients are beta gluten, chamomile, green tea, pomegranate, Siberian ginseng, silk amino acids as well as vitamins B and E to increase the production of elastin. The day cream also contains a physics-based SPF of 15, i.e. the cream protects the skin by reflecting light away. I like the descent, elegant smell of the cream.

Price performance ratio

The Hydrating Day Cream comes in two sizes, 1.7 fl. oz. (50 ml) as shown in the photos and 2.8 fl. oz. (85 ml). The small size comes in a practical tube with push dispenser. The large size comes in a beautiful glass flacon that has a push dispenser as well. The small and large sizes cost $32.95 and $52.95, respectively. This means the costs are about $0.659/ml and $0.623/ml, respectively, which is in the ballpark of other natural skin care products.

Large and small sizes for at home and immediate convenience

Despite the large size is the best deal, I like that one can carry the small size in the purse. Doing so permits you to hydrate the skin whenever it feels dry and itchy. Thus, when you can afford it, get The Jojoba Company‘s Hydrating Day Cream in both sizes. The hydrating day cream also makes a great holiday gift. 😉

What do you spend on your day cream? Do you suffer from dry skin in winter? What day creams have you tried? Let me know by email, I am curious.
