Hawaiian Tropic Apparel
Staying with the vacation theme of this week here on the blog, I want to introduce you Hawaiian Tropic Apparel. This brand specializes, among other things, in beach dresses, cover-ups or whatever you want to call it and need for the beach. They sent me this beautiful beach dress of my choice for review.
Super-soft fabric in great color
The fabric of the dress feels nearly like silk, but it is rayon. When you loved the washed silk in the 80s you will love how the dress’ fabric hugs your skin. It’s perfect for sun and water stressed skin. It also looks like silk. Thus, it is perfect for women over 40. Silk looks elegant, never cheap. Pair it with a silver clutch and gold thongs, long chandeliers and a silver and gold arm party and you could even wear it for a beach wedding.
There is a little round gold colored brand button sewn on the back of the beach dress. What a love for details! Such a little thing ups the style.
The dress runs large. Thus, it is easy to slip over to head to the beach bar or restaurant even when the skin is a bit irritated from the unusual exposure to air, wind, water and sun. All four straps are adjustable. Thus, you can regulate the length of the dress with them as well as the back and front cleavage.
I am 5 ft 4 (1.63 m), i.e. petite. Thus, the dress is floor length (see photos). When you are 5 ft 8 (1.73 m) or taller it will be tea length. The handkerchief seam nicely gives some glimpse at the ankles in my case, while on a taller woman than me the dress will showcase its nice hem. The side slits give a sultry glimpse at the legs. Angelina Jolie, we owe you. 😉
I love the print of the Hawaiian Tropic Apparel dress. It looks like tie-dye, but it is not. You could also say, it looks hand-painted. You can’t really put your finger at what the pattern is. This fact makes it very interesting and a head turner. The color combination looks like the horizon where the sky and sea blend in summer. White, blue, gray, and greenish. Well, for you it may look like the ocean. It just screams summer, vacation, and dolce vita or Aloha.
This Hawaiian Tropic apparel dress is meant for vacation, the beach and/or pool. When you are a beach babe, you will get a lot of wear out of it over a summer or two. When you are not living close to the beach and this beach dress is the only one you buy, you will wear it every day over your entire vacation of two or three weeks for two or three vacation trips. In both cases, you get down to $1 to $2 per wear. You spend more on your vacation drinks and tips than on the wear of your beach dress.
Facit: This Hawaiian Tropic Apparel beach dress is worth the fun and money. It’s vacation, babe. Vacation, here I come. I have the perfect dress for you.
Have you already found your vacation beach dress? What do you think about this Hawaiian Tropic Apparel beach dress? Isn’t it gorgeous? Have you already booked your vacation? Let me know, I am curious.

Disclosure: The beach dress was given to me by Hawaiian Tropic Apparel for review. I picked out this dress from their collection. The review is not endorsed by Hawaiian Tropic Apparel. I wrote it entirely myself and it represents my 100% honest opinion.
