Denim jacket for Casual Friday in fall
In summer, my denim jackets serve as coverup on chilly evenings or mornings here in Interior Alaska. In fall, they serve as part of my layering strategy. When you know that winter may bring days with temperatures below -40F (-40oC), you try to not wear the thick jackets or coats already when temperatures are just above the freezing point. 😉
In Interior Alaska, one can just walk out in the above outfit on a nice clear sky, sunny fall day, despite of temperatures just above freezing. The Interior is very dry. Thus, it does not feel that cool on a day with low relative humidity. Think of Interior Alaska as a cold desert. 🙂
What do you wear in fall on Casual Friday? Show me I am curious. You can link up your fall Casual Friday outfit here.
