Get your sunglasses out when the light comes back
In Interior Alaska, spring means that we have finally more daylight than darkness, and we have that earlier than those who live north of the equator, but south of us. Actually, it is the sunlight and the blue skies I always look forward to during the long dark nights and short cold days of late December, early January. March is the driest months in the Interior. This means a lot of sunshine and wearing sunglasses again.
Here I am wearing my Fair Isle sweater over my large second hand hounds-tooth pattern sheath dress. Doesn’t that dress make a nice skirt? Despite all that sunlight, it is still cold outside. Thus, I wear my faux fur coat again. In spring, the hat is just for fun and style.
Do you love to wear sunglasses? Do you wear them with in the cold season too?
