Today just a “What I Wore” post. The smoke of the nearby wildfire rolled into town last night. The sky is gray-brownish and the sun is reddish due to the particulate matter in the atmosphere. The air smells like you put your head in a wood-stove. Disgusting! Many of the particle take up water vapor and swell. The visibility is very low.
The unpleasant air conditions inspired me to a smoke colored outfit. Brownish abstract print, beige pants with hints of black. I wear my cotton cardigan as a top, a light brown summer scarf and a pair of linen pants. This outfit keeps me comfy with the muggy air.
Nature and great art paintings are perfect for outfit color inspirations. What inspires you for your outfits? What are your styling challenges?
